Default Been a while, advise wanted

Cleaning out the machine with my compressor, I busted a fan blade on my PSU. It's still running, but of course I'm going to replace it. I want a little head room hence why I'm gonna go with another 850W. Which one do you think? Or if you have another one I should look at please share.

They are super close by comparison and I already have a Seasonic, but was looking at others, just wanted to see if there was any new hotness out there that I didn't know about. LOL

Can't you just replace the broken fan? ....or is this PSU too old anyway?

The PSU is a sealed unit. I looked at that at first, but your partially right. It's going on 5 years old... Even though I'm sure it still has life left in it, I don't want to experiment with it until I have another one in hand. So yea, its time for a new one considering I bought it when I built my ASRock Z77 build way back when...

Once I do that then I'm gonna play around and see how difficult/easy it is to take apart and replace the fan.

Ended up going with the evga PSU, since the other one is on back order.

Welp... you were partially right... It is replaced and the new one is more efficient, but after looking at the old one, I can and will replace the fan. Had to remove the warranty sticker but who cares. Dang thing is 5 years old anyway.

So once I get the new fan installed, I'll have a spare...

LOL, if I wasn't a dummy and used to much air pressure to clean it, I wouldn't have busted a fan blade in the first place...
