Hi all,
I'm thinking about upgrading from Windows XP Home 32 bit to Vista Business 64 bit. I would like to back up my music, movies, documents, etc. so I can transfer them back to my hard drive once Vista is up and running. I don't have an external hard drive, but I have a spare 300 GB internal hard drive that I am considering using. Can I install this drive, back up my files onto it, install Vista onto the original drive that currently has XP, then move all the files from the backup drive back to the primary drive? Are there any problems that can arise from formatting or conflicts between XP and Vista?
Thanks in advance.
