Our 250MB back-up disk can't handle our daily back ups anymore. Can you guys recommend a good low cost upgrade? This will be used to back-up a small private dental office. Thanks.
What do you mean it can't handle it? Is the space too small, or is there too much writing and reading from it? Now a days, you can an 80GB harddrive for a mere $40:
We want a removable back-up storage device, something that we physically remove from the office. I didn't know if people still use removable storage media, or if people were switching to external HDs..?
Ah - I was about to say that 250MB is quite small (antiquated in fact). I think external hard drives are the way to go. You could either buy an enclosure for a current hard drive you have, an external hard drive, or a removable hard drive rack. This should do the trick:
