Default AVG Cookie Blocking

I have been going through **** with AVG! I require a cookie be sent from a website for school to access the school's library to get access to the major databases (EBSCOHost and ProQuest). I called tech support and they told me that the anti-virus (In my case AVG) is blocking the cookies from their website. They told me I would have to disable my anti-virus. Does anyone know of another way? Or maybe even another cause?

Try Avast for a free antivirus... but your best bet is to purchase an antivirus. I highly recommend eset's NOD32. It is the best antivirus with the smallest footprint out there. You can get it at http://coolcatinc.com/buy_NOD32.html (use RDCSS as rep name to get two years for $58).
