Audio Computer

Hey, Im trying to build a computer for recording.

I want something about 3ghz processing 2gig ram a big harddrive and a basic video card. I dont really know whats out there. I dont want anything cheap but i dont have thousands of dollars to spend so is there any mid range gear thats good to use. :>

I only need a tower.

Is there any good cheap sites i can buy the parts off and put together myself?

but for what you want a pretty simple machine would work... search the forums for "PC" or "New PC" and take a look at the builds that were suggested in those threads... should be just what you need.
