I was about the say, the 780 or 790 chipset's video would be more than adequate for a super budget machine.

the 4830 is a little better than the 9800GT/8800GT

the 9800GTX+ is equal to the 4850

the 4870 1GB is a little slower than the GTX260 core 216

the 9600GT is a little faster than the 4670

Like Phil said, 4830 out performs the 9800 GT. 9800 GTX > 4830 > 9800 GT > 9600 GT > 9600 GSO

So the GSO and the 4830 aren't really in the same category.

The 9600 GSO competes with the 3850 and 4670, not the 4830.

Nothing like slapping a new name on the same old chip and shoving it out the door. But, hey, they have to sell the imperfect chips, too. If I remember right they had a whole lot of them for a while...
