Default ati all in wonder or get a pci capture card?

i'm looking to get some kind of capture card to record from my video camera.

looking for some suggestions.

should i get a ati all in wonder card or just get a pci capture card?

what vid card do you have now? if it's a decent one, it wouldn't be worth buying an ATI all in wonder, b/c they are usually expensive

yeah that's what i was kinda thinking. i have a Gforce 5500 right now and am pretty happy with it. so i think i should just get a pci capture card.

those ati all in wonders are really expensive.

Well if you ever plan on upgrading your video card and you want the AIW features, I'd reccomend the X1800 AIW (if your going to be doing some graphic intensive stuff or gaming). If your not gaming you could always shoot for the X1300 AIW.

I'd say the X1600 AIW would be the perfect card for you, but ATI hasn't released one and doesn't seem to be showing signs of releasing one.
