Default Asus Prime Z370-P NVME SSD

Hey all. So I have an Asus Prime Z370-P motherboard and I'm looking at installing a Samsung 970 PRO 512GB - NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD into the system. I'm just wanting to make sure that the SSD is compatible with the motherboard or not? Do you have any *cheaper* recommendations for an SSD rather than the Samsung brand? I'm pretty much looking for the best, cheapest M2 NVME SSD that will boot & load crazy fast in my system. Thank you!

Yes it'll work, get the Evo instead.

What's the main differences between the Evo and Pro? Pro is faster speeds isn't it?

The difference is price. The specs on the sheet don't translate to real world performance. If there was a difference I'd have a Pro instead of an Evo.

in reality, you won't be able to tell the difference when the pc is booting up
