Asus P5N-E SLI vs. Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe
I am trying to decide between Asus P5N-E SLI vs. Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe. The P5N32 sells for about $75 more and also more expansion slots. The P5N comes with the NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI and the P5N32 comes with NVIDIA nForce4 SLI x 16 chipset.
I plan to use the computer for gaming. I play games like WoW and I will probably try Vanguard when it comes out. I will also be trying some basic video editing. I have a lot of videos which I would like to convert to DVD. If the built in sound works well enough, I will not buy a sound card. If the sound produces the static that I have read about, I will probably get the >$50 sound card from Creative labs. Lastly, I plan to initially go with only one video card. I will probably end up using the SLI/dual card capability later on.
I have already purchased a Thermaltake 750watt power supply. CompUSA has a pretty good deal on the unit for about $120 with the insta-savings and rebates.
