Hi

I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade my cpu in my asus g50 vt laptop as I have only got the P7450 @2.13GHz and if so how do I do it?

You can, but it takes alot of research and even more research.

You'd basically do it like a desktop.... take it apart, and pop it in.

You need to do the research, as your mobo only gets so much power, and that can't be changed.

Then thres the cooling.... too much chip = too much heat.

Along with what patonb said. It will take patience too. I've dismantled and put back together laptops before. It's do-able but painstaking. If anything you'll void the warranty too.
