Just wondered what the difference was between the two Asus A8N SLI Deluxe mobos, one being an Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe. I know it's a bit more expensive, but is the price increase worth it and for what gain?

Thanks.

The Asus A8N SLI Deluxe uses the standard nF4 SLI chipset. It gives you 16 lanes for a single graphics card, and 8/8 for two in SLI.

The Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe uses the nF4 SLI32 chipset. Works the same way, but gives you 16/16 lanes for SLI, thus giving you the full performance throughput for each card.

Thanks Trotter for taking the time to reply. Bugger, so I bought an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe. I probably wont be SLI'ing anytime soon, I have an 7900GTX though, so I guess it don't matter too much? Even if I did SLI on the 8/8 board, it will still be pretty good with two 7900GTX though yeah? If not, I guess I will buy a new mobo when I am rich enough to SLI those cards.
