I agree... reading in between the lines, I get the same feeling. This might be a 1st step towards nvidia maybe?

No, it's purely for mining. Sharing with Chaintec or whatever using old designs for cheap cost and putting a gaming branding on there for marketing. Why else have 3 of the same card with different RAM IC manufacturers?
