That could be a very expensive lesson of it sends a surge through the system frying the whole thing, Had one Rosewill years back and it lasted about 1 year but fortunately it didn't take out anything else, just refused to turn on one day.

Higher end Rosewill units are rather decent, but I personally still do not trust them. Buttermilk Great Value is rather decent too, but it isn't Hidden Valley.

Yes- have heard , and am hoping , that the higher end gold certified will be a good unit.
