ah right, musta missed it...

but locally only the manchester etc. cores have actually experienced the price drops...

yeah that price dropped cause i spent $200 on my athlon 64 3500+ and i bought 2 at that price cause they are good processors...

Should I buy an AMD processor now? Or wait for them to go even lower? Is it possible for them to come back up in price? I don't pay that much attention to retail prices on CPU's. I know RAM goes up and down in price, not sure about CPU.

I would get it now... If might go up and stay up after a while, due to this merger with ATI... so you never know what it might do... jump while you have a chance. IMO
