Question AMD mobile athlon xp for socket 754?

I saw this cpu+mobo bundle at newegg. It's a socket 754 mobo but the cpu is a mobile athlon xp 2800+.

Has anybody ever seen a mobile athlon xp for socket 754? Also what is the difference between a mobile proccesor and a regular one? Is the mobile less powerfull or something? thanx

Hmm don't think that socket is for Athlon XPs.

The mobile XP series came out after the regular series. I don't know much about them except they're good overclockers.

Athlon XP was not made for socket 754. That's a fact. 754 was the original platform for desktop PC's to have 64 bit support. Athlon XP's were 32 bit... Not that it's a reason that backs up my argument, but that's how the cookie crumbled.
