sorry to use somebody else's thread, but i'm on someone's computer, and they have an Athlon 64 3000+. The temps are at 43 degrees for the system, 45 for the mobo, and 36 degrees for the HD.

Is this good temps for an Athlon 64 3000?

yes, my seagate HDD runs at 40-45, and the others are around the same as mine

@ Scorpio, I have the 2800+ Barton, and it idles at about 50 as well, and reaches all the way up to 65C under load. But that's understandable, since it goes up to 35C outside, and even warmer than that in my room. London is having a crazy hot summer!

At Scorpio, those temps are actualy lower than normal.

AMDSCOrPiO 07-27-2006 07:51 PM

are you serious i thought they were high

PP Mguire 07-27-2006 07:59 PM

No Socket A processors tend to run real hot. My 2600+ on stock cooling and stock speeds would be full load at around 63c.

wow mine shuts off at 65 degrees when overclocked at 3200+ speeds
