Default amd athlon fx 60???

Hi peeps, I kinda in the market for a dual processor. I currently have a amd 3700+ sandiego wich I've been pretty happy for the most part but I wanted to upgrade to a dual from the get go. I was looking in the 500-600 dollar range so I was spying on the amd athlon fx 60. I'm using a A8N asus premium motherboard so I'm pretty sure it will work with that board but I just thought I would get you guys info before I made any rash purchases. I know that after extensive research online that I could make a decision but I also know that the best research is from other peeps aswell. But I would greatly appreciate any info you guys can offer. Thanks.

fx60 is a good chip, but its way overpriced. go for a 4400+ or a 4800+
