Default AGP Graphics Card

My cousin wants to get this graphics card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814170082
but his slot is 4x and the card is 8x will the card still work if he puts it in the slot?

Since it's a 4X/8X card, yes, it should, it just wouldn't run as fast as if it were in a native 8X slot.

However, if he is still using a system that utilizes a 4x AGP slot, then I would recomend that is it time to upgrade.

He would already have a new card to hold him over to PCIE.
