Hi,

My PSU died and I replaced it with a corsair HX 620w.

The strange thing is that now when I try to boot I get some power, i.e. lights and fans and similar starts but the computer doesnt start booting, i.e. I dont even get the short beep indicating that the boot process is starting. But the funny thing is that once in a while, say after 5 tries It works fine. It boots as it should and there is no sign of problems at all. If the computer starts as it should, I can restart it from menu and it restarts without problem, but if I power off and let it be for a while then it will not start.

Further when it wouldnt start, I can do one of two things: 1) turn of power using switch on PSU or 2) reboot using the reboot button on the front. Pushing power button on front will not work.

What I have:
MSI P35 NEO-FI S-775 DDR2 SATA2 GBLAN FW ATX
INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6850 3.0GHZ 4MB 1333MHZ S-775
MSI GEFORCE 8600GTS 512MB DDR3 HDMI HDCP PCI-E
CORSAIR 4GB DIMM DDR2 800MHZ PC6400 CL5 (2X2GB)

So, is there any way to know if it is the mainboard, the new PSU or the GPU? Or what... Any suggestion?

Thanks
Johan
