after building computer

I recently just built my first computer and i was wondering is there anything i need to do to the bios or is that it as I seen a website tweaking the bios.

Most likely not. If you plan on overclocking, you better become familiar with the BIOS

You can disable items in the CMOS setup that you do not use.

For example, if you don't use the firewire ports or onboard sound you can disable those.

mb, cpu and ram?

may need some changes to get your ram running at rated speeds and timings especially if it was an i7 build with ddr3 1600 or faster.
