Hi all,
Ok firstly apologies if this post is in the wrong forum.
Just splashed out and bought myself a nice Gainward Phantom GTX 580 3GB PCIe graphics card, now I'm wanting to get the best out of it by purchasing a new monitor.
I'm wanting a good 120Hz 3D gaming monitor, price really isn't a problem although I'd draw the mark at the £500 mark, roughly.
At the moment, I'm tempted with either the Alienware OptXTM AW2310, Asus VG236H or the BenQ XL2410T.
I have a few questions about 3D monitors:
1. Do you need dual-DVI connections to run 1080p @ 120Hz? I'm under the impression that HDMI 1.4a cannot run 3D at full HD due to its chipset?
2.Out of the monitors I've mentioed, which one would be the best buy? Or can you guys suggest a monitor which is even better?
