ok i built a computer on new egg, just take a look, see if everything is compatible, and then rate... (this computer is built for gaming, such as "supreme commander")

that mobo would use ddr2 ram, not ddr3 ram.

the parts you picked total around $665.

but i would get these parts instead

this build is not only cheaper, totaling $630 + shipping, but would blow the doors of the parts you picked, not trying to sound mean or anything

and for $26 more you could switch the cpu/ gfx card i listed with this one that includes a black edition

The only problem I have with that is I heard amd cpu's are much harder to get working than intel

no... wherever or whoever you heard that from is wrong. how would an amd cpu be harder to work with?...

if you still want to go with intel and keep the price relatively the same, you could go with a core i3 dual core.

yes i'd definitely go with muffinman's build. Much much better! And i would spend the extra $26 for the black edition! (unless of course budget is really tight..)
