I have recently upgraded the ram which I found easy enough but need to upgrade the processor could you please tell me if I need a 939pin or 724 I want to keep to an AMD athlon and want to upgrade to a 3200 or 3500, also how easy is this to do? Any help is appreciated.

Athlon XPs are ONLY Socket A. So, if you want a S754 or 939 proc, you will have to upgrade your motherboard. And, since this is a prebuilt, you should probably check to make sure it can be replaced with an off the shelf board.
