Adding a secondary hdd....

I'm adding a secondary 160GB sata2 hdd to my system, I have a 300W power supply, will I need to up my power supply?

I'm upgrading to 500W anyway, but I've got the hdd now, still waiting for my Antec 500W power supply. Should I wait? or will the 300W be ok?

depends on the chip your running and at what speed but if all stock and now masiive loads (eg leds , cathodes etc) you should not need more then 300 for two drives

Hard drives only take like 5-10W.
