Adding cooling

I have a promo code on new egg that requires me to spend $50. The stuff that I want comes up just short and I thought I would just add a fan to my case to increase cooling and also get me over the spending floor. Would this fan work in this case? As far as installing, is it simply a matter of mounting it and plugging it in?

I wasn't expecting much for the $7 or so that it will cost me. And I couldn't think of much else to buy that was similarly priced to bump me past the minimum in order to activate the promo code. Are all fans in that price range crappy or is it just that one? My machine seems to run pretty cool with the stock fans that came with it, but if it came to needing one or wanting one for better airflow what could I expect to spend for decent airflow and low noise?
