I have a Dell Inspiron 6000, which I know supports a bluetooth card, it has all the aerials and the connections next to the battery pack. But I am wondering if the BIOS would support it, or whether it would need a Flash to get it to work, I can get the Dell drivers for it, as they are on the website, but I am wondering if I could get a card?

Any help is appreciated.

Step 1: Buy $19 USB Bluetooth Adapter.

Step 2: Plug it in.

There is no reason the BIOS would have anything to do with it, it's not like you're booting from Bluetooth or something.

In the Dells, there is a internal connector, which can be used, I dont want an external one as I will rip the connector off it, or damage the USB ports, and the faff of trying to remember where I put it.

If there is a spot in the laptop for a bluetooth card, then you won't need to flash the BIOS as either way it's probably USB anyway. Just go buy the card and it should work.
