About the Q6600's

So for the last couple of weeks both Ebuyer and Overclockers have been "Out of Stock" on both the B3 and G0 versions of the Q6600.

Now they're in stock again, and the price has shot up from ~£125 to ~£170/190 respectively (overclockers still being more expensive).

Either way I was wondering if you techies on the other side of the ocean have experianced the same thing? And why when the new C2X models have been announced has the "lower" model has gone up in price.

PS this has also put me off getting a quad for now, sticking with a duo and splurging on a better GPU heh.

Nope, actually the quad is down to around 266 US here.

Runs between $265-$300 USD where I usually shop. Doesn't seem to have shot up as you have experienced.
