64 bit?

Yea that pretty much shows the intelligence level of this forum. People rant off stuff that they heard somewhere else and have no idea what they're talking about.

Theres a lot of software inplications of 64-bit, mostly for business use. Basically, a 64-bit operating system can be thought of as a "stronger" operating system. Take Vista for example. In Vista you will have about 10 times as many features, just because you can. It also brings about other possible advances, such as the confirmed DX10 (though its not called that).
 
Its a totally new architecture. The more features also account for the huge amount of RAM it takes up (512MB for Vista?).
 
Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking about r\the 64bit architecture, not Vista.

Too bad they won't include WinFS with Vista.
