Will you be running Qarl's Texture Pack [a mod] on this comp (for Oblivion) because that makes things somewhat demanding...

If you just want to run it with decent settings any build will generally do that... but Tenebaum's build can max it out easily even with Qarl's Texture Pack and some of the visual mods it comes with

I would get a samsung optical drive. I find that the trays on the LGs can be a bit loose additionally I find that the samsungs are quieter and have a nicer action. Just my 2p.
