5 yeard old pc harddrive upgrade.

Here is the thing my step dad''s friend brought this pc to it was mostly fried .
My step dad just got himself a laptop and told me i could use his old pc to use for part to see if i could get this one running.
my step dads pc was a heat box terrible store bought pc that cos too much it was so bad the rear fan was the cpu fan lol .
i get all set up in my step dad's friends case since isn't a complete heat box.
all the harddrives were bad they all failed i had a 20gb one tucked away that i used and it works fine but he would like to get bigger one i need u guy opinion in one that's compatible.
here is the MOBO model i know is intel pentium 4 chip P4SD-LA it does have 2 sata ports but will need an adaptor for the power supply.
here is what i was looking at since he wants a cheap drive.

I'd steer away from the first one. I'm starting to find that IDE drives are getting more expensive than a SATA drive and any accessories needed to get compatibility.

Yha, there really isn't an incompAtable HD, just SATA or IDE...
