In my opinion with anything Athlon 64 350watt (good brand) is pushing it, i suggest 400watt they dont cost much more. However 450watt and 500watt is really redundant unless you are running SLI and Water Cooling and a Bazillion fans with Cold Cathodes and 5 drives etc etc.

General rule of thumb is - you usually know when you need a 500w + PSU because if your smart enough to go and buy SLI, Raid, Many fans and Cold Cathodes, you usually know a bit about PSU's.

Core 2 Duo E6400, DFI Infinity 975X/G, 2x 512mb DDR2 667mhz, Albatron 7900gt, WD 200gb SATA, Samsung DVD-RW, Silverstone ST-50EF 500w PSU.
