ok i've decided that i'll go for a x38 mobo

tell me what you think of this build

mobo - ASUS P5E3 DELUXE
cpu - Q9450
gpu - 2 3850 512mb cards

what ram i dont know still looking at them, will be after 4gb either way 1gb strips though

EDIT - what do you guys think of the gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 mobo with the same cpu and gpu, the asus mobo only takes DDR3 where the gigabyte takes DDR2

also would the gigabyte take that quad core, it seems to say nothing on the gigabyte website

Yes it will. Gigabyte is quality. If you choose DDR3 your budget will go through the roof.

yeah great, i am trying to steer away from DDR3 for that exact reason

i got a max budget of £650 for the mobo, cpu, ram, psu, keyboard and mouse plus any wires needed

the more i get for my money the better

edit - thanks every one who posted i appreciate all the input, i have decided on everything now, its in my sig and getting money for it is going to be a pain but well
