Default 2 new parts... need critic on choice

I just bought a 600watt power supply, and a 250GB sata HD for about 120$. did i get ripped off?

and also, what would have been a better hard drive to go with for gamming? people tell me that the raptor is a good one.

Cheapest SATA HD = $70.

Cheapest 600W PSU = $25,

Those are the OEM parts, and you probably got a good PSU. Just pray that you did. You probably got retail. And I wouldn't touch the PSU that I showed as an example with a 10-foot pole. It's going to fall apart when you open the box
