Hi!
This is m 1st time build and i have a bugdet of about 400-500 pounds, here is proposed plan.
I already have keyboard/mouse and speakers, so could you look at my plans, tell me if i need to change anything, any suggestions and where i can find them cheap :p! (these prices are straight from internet sites, so if u find them cheaper plz tell me!!!!)

Case- N Novatech Panacea ATX PC Tower Case with 350W PSU - £20

Mother Board- Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi 965 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard -£109

cpu/processor- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2 x 2.4Ghz 4Mb Cache 1066 FSB Dual Core Processor - £190


memery/ram- 1GB 240Pin 667 DDR2 PC5400 RAM DIMM 1.8V -£55

HDD- Western Digital Caviar 80Gb 8Mb Cache Hard Disk Drive ATA 100 <8.9ms 7200rpm - OEM -£25

cd drive- SAMSUNG Black 16xDVD 52xCDWriter 32xReWriter IDE -£16

graphics/video card- 256/512MB nVidia GeForce 7300LE PCI-Express Graphics Card - £35

OS- Microsoft Windows XP Home with Service Pack 2 OEM and Windows Vista upgrade coupon- £64
 
It looks like you're on a tight budget. I suggest, going down to a Core 2 Duo E6300, and upgrading the video card to like a 7600GT, if you're gaming. And the ram is ok, if you're not overclocking. Also, do not use the power supply, included in the case. Get a known brand, or may I suggest the Fortron 400W or 450W. You could probably go down, and pick a cheaper motherboard, like the Gigabyte 965P- DS3.
 
hmmmm, thanks for that! so if i do that will everything be compatible with eachother?
and im gonna b playing games like battlefield 2, half-life 2 and stuff, will the e6300 b enough?
