If you are into media (movies), go for the widescreen.

My daughter's lappy has a 17" widescreen, and it is pretty sweet. Both of my comps have 19" regulars, but her 17" wide shows the same size letter box. A 19" widescreen would be even sweeter.

Just got the Gateway 19" wide screen at CompUSA for $179 and $20 MR.


If you are into media, and using any type of creative software, such as, Photoshop, video editing, then get it; more real-estate.

nah get an 4:3 its best for games and internet surfing it dont give a difference for games or surfing just the movies get a SONY sdmhs75p

On games with a 4:3 is like looking through thick glasses, but with a widescreen it's like peripheral vision.

That and the HUD is more out of the way.

Yea get the widescreen they are nice, even thought i dont play games i use a 27" viewsonic. Bought it back in january for 700$ from newegg oh and by the way General when you get that new lian li case plz post some pictures up i want to buy one lol
