I've heard Acers are a bit better than Hanns-Gs. But that doesn't make Hanns-G, bad. They're more like a value company, to make monitors more affordable.

Go with the Acer if you don't want the D-Subs.

I knew that they had both. You said you wanted DVI, so I said go with the Acer if you don't want to use the D-Sub.

Thats funny because I need the D-Sub but would like the DVI if I upgrade.

Forget what I had, monitor doesn't have DVI port.

I would pick the Samsung too, but the guy wants a DVI port. And that Samsung doesn't.

get a samsung syncmaster, they are great and have newer versions have DVI

Then get that monitor b1gapl has just suggested. Use your D-SUB for now until you're WANTING to upgrade it to DVI since that monitor has both adapters for either DVI or D-SUB.
