1440x900 Question

You could give it a try.

Just to clarify, what resolution are you using now with your DVI cable?

Have you checked to see whether you can manually define a resolution in the Nvidia control panel? Have you installed the latest Nvidia ForceWare graphics driver?

I am using the latest ForceWare drivers and I recently tried manually setting the resolution but it scrunches up and displays only on the top 2/3 of the screen. I'll try playing with some of the more advanced settings on the define a resolution to see if that fixes it. Also I am using 1024x768 right now as that was the highest resolution it is offering right now.

Does anyone know if DVI Single Link has a max resolution?

A good point.

I've researched, and the maximum resolution of DVI is 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. So I don't think the DVI single link cable is the problem.

I have finally fixed the problem. I had to set up a custom resolution as well as setting up a custom timing. A little annoying, but it is running at 1440x900 and it looks great. Thanks for the help.
