OK folks, I am brand new to this forum and the build your own PC world, but I've been thinking about doing this for awhile and want to give it a run. I stumbled upon this list (with a few changes I made) from a previous thread which looks like about the right mix for what I need which includes streaming video to a website, a few games and my son's Flight Simulator X game which brings our old Dell Dimension Pentium 4 to its knees.

So, assuming this is a pretty good build list, my question is about the CPU and the motherboard. The CPU FSB is rated at 1066 Mhz while the MOBO is 1600/1333. I assume this is OK and the MOBO will slow down to match the CPU? Probably simple obvious question, but I want to make sure I don't need to pay the extra bucks for a 1333 CPU for this board, or get a cheaper board.

Thanks for any tip on this!

Thanks, I did pick out a case and I already own a copy of Windows Vista which I plan to use since I will be retiring the old Dell.
