Hello and welcome to TF.
we are quite busy here recently, but will help you as soon as possible.
to get you started i would personaly recomend the removal of the google toolbar via add/remove programs however this is up to personal preference and is up to you.
i do not see any browser redirects or evidence that your host file has been altered. the problem may have been with Yahoo. either they were having problems or unusually high trafic at that time.

please try again and let me know if you're still having problems.

thanks
~KB

emmynem_2005, we don't mind helping you but one thing, in order to help you, we must insist on getting rid of the P2P program in your computer. It is the policy of this forum to not support P2P programs and please visit this web site: Stealing is illegal

With that said, here is what you do to fix your computer cause you do have some problems:

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these. Close ALL windows except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Restart to Safe Mode

Find this file and fix it:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\ARES\ARES.EXE

Navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Reboot

Empty the Recycle Bin

Then post another log. Liz
