I was able to run ccleaner and clean up and did that first. Clean up I saw a telnet file that it deleted. then scaned with dds/gmer, and now ran the trojan remover. Trojan remover found msa.exe and stopped it 's process. I hope that means it also removed it but dont know.
And I am still being redirected: To: smartbiz search.com & 7search.com & ideal.com or something like that.
this sucks!!! Is there a way to port scan myself and see if someone is using a port?
or checking on someone telnet me.

Go ahead and post a new hijackthis log. Then I will have you remove some more entries that are related to search functions.

Are you able to reinstall FF? Or Repair it?

Ok ran hjack: and came back here got redirected again: found tracking cookies .doubleclick and a **** affiliate marketer his number is affiliate 7658 ezanga. I am determined now.

no different.... still there........a black hat affiliate marketer too no doubt. Probably one of the rich jerks students. Man, this is frustrating...........I dont have a cd for vista either or I would just disk kill, and reinstall.
and my back up image is in acer recovery thing that I cant remember password for........I heard I may be able to get it with a linux disc or something though .....i dont know .....this sucks.

Ok, we are gona hit this a little harder. I need you to do or make sure this is done is this order or already completed and post logs after all programs, run programs in the order shown and go thru each step. Make sure there aren't any browsers running when performing all of these steps.

1. Go to Start, Run, type msconfig and press enter. Go to Startup, click Disable All but dont reboot yet.

2. Download Msconfig Cleanup, install and run. MSConfig Cleanup - optimize your Windows startup All the entries that were unchecked in Step 1 will be removed. So if you need something to startup each and every time you reboot then close this, go back to step 1 and recheck what you want. If not then click Select All and then Clean Up Selected.

3. Disable System Restore
4. Run CCleaner and Cleanup again, make sure you run CCleaners Registry Cleaner as well.
5. Reboot
6. Run Combofix - Make sure you have the most recent copy from BC A guide and tutorial on using ComboFix
7. Run Malwarebytes - Make sure you have the most recent copy and updates from MB Malwarebytes.org
8. Reinstall IE8 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx
9. Reinstall FF (if you use it) Firefox Browser | Faster & Safer Internet | Free Download

10. Check for Windows Updates, get fully updated before going onto the next step.
11. Update to AVG Free 9.0 AVG Free - Download installation files & documentation and then run a Full System Scan and post results if clean or not.
12. Go to Add/Remove Programs and make sure there arent any programs that need to be uninstalled or associated with Spyware/Malware/Viewpoint/Coupons, etc. If there is and you remove it, run CCleaner's Registry Cleaner again.
13. Uninstall Java and update to latest version java.com: Java + You
14. Perform a Disk Cleanup of your hard drive.
15. Run Trojan Remover and all of its features listed under Utilities which there are 5 of them.
16. Run OTC http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTC.exe Click the Cleanup button.
17. Reboot
18. Run Hijackhis! http://go.trendmicro.com/free-tools/hijackthis/HijackThisInstaller.exe and post its log
19. Post the log from the other programs as well. If the log is to large, split it up, I need to see the entire log this time, especially from Combofix.
20. After running all these scans, are you still being redirected?
