Ran the antispyware guide. Please help my slow, slow computer.

Osiris, my wife just spoke to her mother and mom said that IE7 is working about the same as IE6 was before. The computer is a little slow to boot up in the morning and opening IE for the first time of the day is also slow. However, once IE finally opens up, internet surfing is nice and fast. In fact, even if you close IE and then open it up later in the day, it opens just a quickly as any other computer.
Bottom line: her computer is working way faster than before. It was pretty much unusable when I got to their house before Christmas and now her computer (once IE is opened for the first time) is as fast as my computers are.
One last nice little effect of running the antispyware guide: her printer is now working
