The only thing i can think of is to create a non-admin account. Since he is running XP there is the option to create a standard account. That might be the way to go. Lock down the admin account and create a standard user account.

Ya but even standard users in XP have administrator privileges. That is exactly what i was going to do until I saw the lack of options you can do with the standard local policies in XP.

If it comes down to him shipping me the laptop I'll what you're talking about Mak and TRY to lock down a standard account.
