I am having problems with the following issues

1. When going to the windows security center, it says "security service is turned off, so when I turn it on, it gives me a message "security center service cannot be turned on".

2. I did a scan using malwarebytes and its say nothing is wrong.

3. When I open up firefox it says "proxy server is refusing connection".

4. When I open up IE, it says "visiting this website may harm your pc". And then I get this Security alert stating that i am being attacked by an IP address (I forgot to write down the IP address) and it asks me do you want to block it, I click yes. And then IE opens up with "Security Suite - innovation protect with your pc"

Any suggestion/advice would be appreciated.

Run Malwarebytes, Combofix from Safe Mode with Networking and then post up their logs with an updated HiJack This Log.

I tried to install combofix, however, it gave me an error message that says combofix only works with Windows 2000 and XP.

I ask again, did you download the latest version? Have you got the proper version? It does work. It is stated on several sites as much.

Are you asking the latest version of vista or combofix? I am just soooooo freaking frustrated right now (not at you), but the situation. I really need my laptop NOW and I apologize for the stupid question.

He's asking if you have the latest version of Combofix, you can find it in the post he stated above or here. It does work in Vista, if you can update your Malwarebytes, then go into safe mode (not with networking). Follow the guide on posted above (Vista Full).
