I've tried using a few different d/l links and renaming it and it gives me an error each time... something like this program does not exist.. or was modified or something.. point being it doesn't let me run it.

Ok, I finally got a version of combofix to d/l, but I don't think its the most recent one... but when it double click it, the hour glass simple comes up for a second and then nothing starts...

No links from bleepingcomputer seem to work for me.

Thats something else I've noticed, i guess whatever I have is blocking that and spybot forums as well as malware byte forums..

Ok, I got sdfix d/led... when I double click it... nothing happens..
