So now I'm on to fixing up my mother's computer.

This thing runs as slow as a snail.

Besides that though, she has this virus that comes up sometimes as she's browsing using AOL. Sometimes, not sure what triggers it, she's be bombarded with hundreds of "blank pages" with nothing loaded on them. It's impossible to delete them using, as they just reload too fast. When you I try to end the process, they just come back, forcing thec us to have to reboot. McAfee doesn't catch it, and nothing in your guide has fixed it Osiris.

And this other problem, it's just easy to show it in a piture.

There's no task bar around the task manager, i guess is the way to describe it.

I'm also looking for general assistance to speed up this computer as well.

I hate just coming here and posting a log. I think I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to computers, but I'm really intimidated by HJT. I feel like if I click the wrong thing I'm going to really **** up a computer.

I've been through the spyware guide(ran ccleaner, cleaned up msconfig and ran the cleaner, ran cleanup!), and the HJT tut & guide. the HJT log was already posted.

unless I'm missing something, there's no info to help me interpret the info in the log files :\

I had already gone through the guide when i originally posted the log.

The problem is, I don't know what triggers the blank page problem. So I don't know if it's always active, or if it has been fixed, which it probably hasn't been.

I need you to run combofix and then malwarebytes. Make sure to post combofixes log, I need to see what all it deleted. Make sure IE, FF, etc is closed
