someone please help me... i ended up with mc-110-12-0000080 and free prod viruses on my computer.. i need someone to help me pretty please. i have tried virus scanning and they dont' show up.. it scans them like they are supposed ot be here.. aimfix doesn't work because it tells me that the dll file is missing.. and i'm frustrated b/c i got it over aim and now i have these files on my computer and i don't know how to get rid of them.. i even tried manually deleting them.. if anyone has any idea of how to get rid of these viruses.. please email me... princess_elspeth84@yahoo.com.. i would greatly appriciate some help on getting rid of these without reformatting my harddrive like my stepdad said i would. I've run Housecall.. which is the only one i have access to.. and adaware isn't picking anything up.. nothing is picking anything up.. house call scans it as a normal file and adaware only picks up stupid tracking cookies..

This is part of the Rbot worm which has likely disabled your task manager. Please follow the instructions below.

Before attacking an adware/spyware problem with hijackthis make sure you have already run the following tools. Download and update the databases on each program before running.

• Ad-Aware® SE Personal Edition
  *Note* For Ad-AwareSE also install the VX2 Addon Cleaner To run this tool once Adaware is updated click on Add-ons in the lefthand column. Select VX2 Cleaner V2.0 and click Run Tool. Click "OK" , then, if something is found, click "Clean" as in the directions given. Click "Close", and exit Ad-Aware.
  
• Spybot Search & Destroy
• CWShredder

Also make sure you are using the the latest version (1.99.1) of HijackThis and it's installed in it's own folder on the root drive. (C:\HJT)

Please go to at least two of these sites and run an online Virus Scan.
Be sure to have the AutoFix box(s) checked.

Once you have completed those steps...download hijackthis...do a scan...save the log and post it here. Please DO NOT start another thread!
