System has been odd with random cursor jumps, so I went through warez removal guide and did all the steps I felt comfortable with (except spy catcher express, which seems to cause errors in HP photosmart premier). Please advise...

I don't see any problems with your log except you have alot of programs loading on startup which could cause high memory usage and random cursor jumps at start up.

There must be a problem, however, because my now my MSN homepage has been changed, and when I attempt to access my Internet Options, I'm told "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." I am the only user.

Found a site that suggested that I run regedit and remove this entry:

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present

Which I did, and I can now access my options, but I'm still getting a message in the Internet Options window saying that:

"Some settings are managed by your system administrator"

And the email preview on my msn homepage is still blocked and saying there are no new messages when there are.

It would not be clever to have removed them when RonnieLR hadn't said he had any problems with Restrictions, some people have them restriction as their usual settings...

I was just checking the internet settings out of curiosity when I noticed the restrictions, because I didn't recall setting them myself. I would have posted, but figured I could do some sleuthing and find out on my own.
