hey guys

i have a laptop preloaded with a bunch of junk from the manufacturer... and i can't tell whats good and whats bad... some programs are for the touchpad, battery saving something, wireless stuff... things like that.. but there is a lot.. so i don't know whats important and whats not.

go in add/remove programs and see if gator is listed, if it is, unistall it and also look in program files

well i dont have problems with spyware/adware/viruses, my only problem is with the stuff that is pre-loaded by toshiba. i'm gonna assume toshiba isn't putting spyware on their computers, hehe... so my question was what programs did they pre-install do i not need? i can't tell if its vital like it controls how battery is used... or if its just some extra useless junk toshiba thinks would be good for me. well.. i guess you'd have to have a toshiba notebook to know exactly what i'm talking about.. but i'm sure other manufacturers preload their laptops with gunk...

oh and thx for the removing the 2 things part..

what ever program you see that your not going to use are the ones you need to remove.
