So when its scanning, does it find anything before it freezes? If it does, watch is closely, when it find an infection abort the scan and then remove whatever it finds, reboot and then scan again. Do this till the scan completes with no infections found.

I have seen some pretty badly infected computers over my time and not once have they been unable to complete a scan.
Its likely something else is going on, whether this be a currupt installation, harddrive dieing, Bad RAM or inconsistent rails on the psu..
At any rate I suggest buying some cheap RAM just to see, or better yet backing up your data and reinstalling windows.

Spybot is able to complete the scan its just after the scan when i try to click the fix problem button is when it freezes up on me. Here is the hijack log for you osiris
