I'm really peeded off with this as I had to do another system restore as my icons on my desktop stop working and so do the icons on the start menu :mad::mad: any suggestions with that???

That looks okay to me. Wait for Osiris's approval. But from the sounds of it this system is more than corrupt. You lost your icons? That is a tad serious.

You might just be better off backing up and re-installing.
 
good good, its not that they are not there just that they don't work, should I do a repair install or something similiar as I really cannot be bothered to format :(
 
I woudl try it at least. I mean if you cant get any shortcuts to work and the start menu doesnt work. Kinda defeats the purpose ya know?
